The Shoreditch Jazz sessions

As part of Jazz Fm’s search for the next generation of jazz, soul and funk artists a new initiative has been set up by Jazz Fm called ‘Shoreditch Sessions’. Taking place in one of London’s grooviest cultural hubs, Rich Mix in Shoreditch, Jazz Fm invites musicians to come down and take part in the jam session which will kick off on Sunday October the 2nd and will happen again on 31st of October. Starting from 6pm, there will be a house band which will kick the sessions off and musicians will be invited to jam afterwards and or book in their 15 minute slot where they will get the chance to showcase their own band.
With Jazz Fm’s ever expanding record label this is the perfect opportunity to be seen by some of the top A&R executives in the industry from both Jazz Fm and Decca, along with the possibility of being signed to the Jazz FM record label.
Jazz Fm and JazzWise are hoping to unearth some of the hottest, newest talent on the scene at the moment which will help shape the direction of the future of jazz, soul and funk to come. The ‘Shoreditch Sessions’ are free entry to musicians and the public. All are welcome.
